SCS 99th Annual Meeting Cancelled

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure the safety of our members, attendees, speakers, industry supports and staff, the SCS Board of Directors have decided to cancel this year’s in-person annual meeting, which was to be held October 7 - 10 at the Hilton Austin in Austin, Texas. This was not a decision reached lightly; however, it became clear that many members and parts of the meeting would not be available in an in-person format due to institutional travel restrictions and personal health concerns.

Early next week, the SCS will be sending out a survey to the membership to receive input as to whether or not the Section should provide virtual content this year. Please keep an eye out for that survey as your input is vital to the Section.

Annual Meeting Registration

If you had already registered for the SCS Annual Meeting, your registration will be automatically cancelled and a refund will be issued using the same form of payment. Please allow 60 days to process your refund.

Hotel Reservations

If you have made any arrangements at the Hilton Austin, you are responsible for cancelling the rooms. Please call the hotel directly to cancel any reservations at (800)-HILTONS.
